A huge front door, with original fan light, (pictured, left) opens up onto a magnificent hallway and staircase,
(pictured, below) from which the rest of the house is accessible.
The floor of the hall is adorned with original Victorian tiles, whilst the walls are covered in a sumptuous red and gold wallpaper.
From the hall, on the ground floor, the two public rooms sit either side of the House.
The Dining room (pictured, right) is a real mixture of old and new.
There are four original Robert Adam inspired plaques, (pictured, left) depicting various Gods, along with an original Adam inspired fireplace.
The floor is stripped, polished pine, which we believe came from the Holkham Estate when the House was built. The modern is provided by Lloyd Loom Dining chairs, window blinds and contemporary lighting. There is also the crockery (look out for the breakfast bowls!!).
The Guest's Drawing Room, on the other side of the Hallway, provides a haven of relaxation. There is an original Marble fireplace, which is flanked on either side with bookshelves crammed full for your perusal. Two Large sofas and various artefacts complete the overall effect.
